Our Baking Process

All of our quality ingredients are placed into our giant mixing bowl as the tap fills them up with water to be mixed. Our fantastic machinery turns our dough as perfect as possible for moulding. A variety of ingredients are used to make a variety of dough for our delicious products. If you are a client, from the black country who loves cobs darkened we are the bakery for you! if your from Worcester who loves bread soft and fluffy we are the bakery for you!!

MIXING THE INGREDIENTS

After being measured out by our bakers, the dough is placed onto the tables where it is molded into a variety of shapes and sizes for different products; sometimes they are rounded to be buns, other times they are rolled out to be batons or baguettes. There's a different story behind each tasty portion.
CRAFTING THE DOUGH

After the dough is in its beginner stage, extra pieces are used for shaping, and knives are used to carve into products for its recognizable appearance, such as cottage loaves.
CARVING

After being molded and carved into a chosen product, the bread is painted with fat to allow it to not only improve the cooking but increase the nutritional value in the bread, as well as keep it moist. It reduces elasticity, stops the bread from breaking, and softens the crust.
PAINTING AND PREPARING

The dough is now ready to be placed into our ovens, in which it is correctly timed for it to rise properly while being cooked. Sometimes some of our clients want their bread to be burned on purpose, such as black cobs, while others prefer our key golden look.
BAKING

Our bread is immediately taken out of the oven for cooling once it is ready, placed next to a fan in baskets. After cooling down, loaves are sliced and carefully placed into packaging. Other products, such as batons, are grouped together and packaged. Once the right number of products are packaged, they are sent off in our delivery vans to our clients.
